Welcome to Bill W and Dr Bob!

Is this a Victory Gardens Production?

-  This is not a Victory Gardens production so none of the phone numbers and/or emails associated with Victory Gardens will be applicable to either show. This is a Theatre 68 production. We are a 23 year old, Bi Coastal theater company with locations in NY and LA and a producing company with 2 shows on a National Tour. ‘I’m Not A Comedian… I’m Lenny Bruce’ is back in Chicago for it’s 4th time and ‘Bill W and Dr Bob’ is making it’s Chicago debut before hitting the road on the National Tour.

The shows are being performed at the Richard Christianson Theater on the second floor of the Biograph Theater. The space is accessible by stairs and by elevator.

Is this where John Dillinger was killed!?

-  YES! On July 22, 1934 notorious gangster John Dillinger, dubbed America’s first Public Enemy Number One by US Attorney General Homer S. Cummings, was gunned down by federal agents outside the Biograph Theatre in Chicago after attending the film Manhattan Melodrama.

Where are my digital tickets?

-  We do not have digital tickets. Your physical tickets will be available at Will Call on the date/time of your event under the name they were purchased under.

Our group wants to sit together. Why can’t we pick our seats?

-  We offer general seating within the respective tier in which you purchased tickets. VIP seating is general seating within the first two rows. General Admission is general seating from the third row back.  Seating is first come first serve. If you arrive with your whole group, it is very likely that you will all be able to sit together. We do not hold seats nor do we have assigned seating.

What time does the theater open before shows?

-  The Box Office opens 1 hour before showtime. Doors to the theater generally open 30 minutes before curtain. Guests are to join us in the lobby until informed that the house is open at which point they can make their way upstairs to the theater.

Is there parking?

-  There is no designated parking and we do not validate parking passes. There is metered parking on the street and garages in the area. Please leave enough time to accommodate parking needs.

What happens if we arrive late?

-  Unfortunately we can not accommodate late seating and for security purposes, we need to lock the door of the box office following the start of the show. To ensure you enjoy the performance and limit disturbance of other patrons, please arrive at least 10 minutes before curtain time.

Is there Handicap seating?

-  We can absolutely accommodate handicap seating requirements. Please include a note on your reservation and inform the box office of your needs. The theater is equipped with an elevator leading to the Richard Christianson Theater on the second floor and there are flat landings to arrive at handicap accessible seating.

Are there group rates?

-  Please email theatre68@gmail.com for group rate information with the date/time you wish to join us and number of people in your party.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

-  Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the door with Cash (there is a Bank of America across the street) or by Zelle or Venmo. Seating for walk up reservations are subject to availability, which may be limited. Purchasing information can be found at the box office. We do not have a credit card purchase option at this time.

Can I get a refund or exchange our tickets?

-  All ticket sales are final, non refundable and non-exchangeable. Please verify your order carefully before completing your trasactions. Charges will appear on your credit card statement as www.theatre68.com.You will not be able to finalize your order until you authenticate that you have read and agree to these terms.

I don’t see my question here. Who do we contact with any questions?

-  Please email JANELLE at theatre68@gmail.com with any questions regarding either of our shows!
